Arash Khaksari, born in Tehran, Iran, was raised in a multicultural environment. His passion for photography initiated in 2016 as a means to pass time. he quickly became captivated by the allure of black and white imagery. With a focus on showcasing the inherent beauty of his subjects, he strives to achieve a minimalistic yet refined aesthetic around fashion and beauty.
Currently based in Paris, Arash continues to pursue his artistic journey in the realm of photography. A sense of sobriety emanates from his projects.He aims to highlight the natural beauty through elegant imagery.
« Mon père était réalisateur, et ma mère était actrice. Avoir une jolie caméra à la maison fait partie de nos habitudes. Cela nous est indispensable, c’est un peu comme avoir un salon avec canapé et télé. » Si tout prédestinait Arash Khaksari à une carrière artistique, rien ou presque ne le promettait précisément au métier de photographe. Il y a encore trois ans de cela, l’artiste iranien occupait un emploi dans le monde du commerce, mais l’ennui était palpable. Un monde « beaucoup trop carré » pour celui qui affirme préférer les ronds, pour « la douceur qu’ils apportent au quotidien ».
